Bhasma Aarti booking in Ujjain is handled through the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee’s official portal. Start there to check available dates and the latest instructions. An enquiry for a private puja is separate from a temple admission booking.

How to Book Bhasma Aarti Through the Official Portal

  1. Open the temple website. Use shrimahakaleshwar.mp.gov.in and choose Bhasmaarti from Online Services.
  2. Sign in on the official service. The public booking link leads to a mobile-number login. Complete the verification requested on that portal yourself; keep any OTP private.
  3. Select an available date. Follow the live calendar and booking category shown after sign-in. A date being within a booking window does not guarantee a place.
  4. Enter devotee details carefully. Match names and identification details to the documents you will carry. Follow the portal’s current photo, ID and group-size requirements.
  5. Review before submitting. Check the selected date, participants, charges, reporting instructions and terms. Pay only through the official booking flow when a payment is required.
  6. Keep the confirmation. Save the confirmed pass and any receipt. Follow its entry location, reporting time and identification instructions on the day.

Regular Booking and Tatkal Booking Windows

According to the official public notice checked on 22 October 2026, regular availability opens on the first of the preceding month at 8 a.m. For example, the notice explains that June bookings open on 1 May and July bookings on 1 June. Tatkal opens at 8 a.m. the day before the intended visit. Recheck the notice before planning around any opening time.

The official site describes Bhasma Aarti as the first daily aarti, performed at 4 a.m. This ritual time is not your reporting time. Security and admission take place according to the instructions issued with your booking.

Documents, Ticket Charges, Dress Code and Entry

Fees, accepted ID types, photo specifications, age rules, group limits, dress requirements and entry arrangements should be checked in the current official booking flow. We do not publish an unverified fixed ticket price or promise a particular viewing area. The public service requires login before the complete booking form is visible.

  • Carry the confirmation and original identification required for each participant.
  • Check the current rules for clothing, bags, phones and other belongings before leaving your accommodation.
  • Ask the temple helpdesk about accessibility, assistance for elders and any restrictions relevant to your group.
  • Read cancellation, refund and modification terms before payment. Do not assume that a confirmed booking can be transferred to another person or date.

Plan Your Mahakal Visit Around the Aarti

Arrive in Ujjain with enough time to rest before a pre-dawn visit. Arrange transport and a meeting point in advance, especially if travelling with children or elders. Keep the following morning flexible instead of combining the aarti with a packed sightseeing schedule.

If your preferred date is unavailable, consider another date or plan regular Mahakaleshwar Temple darshan under the current temple arrangements. Do not treat a paid private puja or a claim of VIP assistance as proof of admission.

Bhasma Aarti Booking FAQs

What is the official Bhasma Aarti booking website?

Use the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee website at the official Bhasmaarti service. It may redirect you to login before showing booking options.

Can I book through Ujjain Puja Seva?

Ujjain Puja Seva can explain private puja services and help you plan rituals. Official Bhasma Aarti booking and admission remain with the temple authority. We do not guarantee tickets, access or a specific darshan arrangement.
